MEET THE UMA SUMMER 2026 SCHOLARS

We're excited to introduce the artists selected to receive a Summer 2026 UMA Scholarship.
 

To everyone who applied, thank you for sharing your work, your creative practice, and your aspirations with us. Every application offered a unique perspective, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the artists who make up this growing community.

This scholarship cycle included both written applications and conversations with selected finalists, giving us the opportunity to get to know the artists behind the work. Throughout the review process, we looked beyond technical ability to better understand your creative practice, your goals, and your commitment to continued growth. Through your applications and interviews, we looked for artists who demonstrated curiosity, intention, and a genuine desire to learn, contribute, and grow within the UMA community.

The strength of this application cycle made the selection process incredibly difficult. While we could only award a limited number of scholarships, every application was reviewed with care and consideration.
