UMA x Angel Food Sound System W3rkshop Saturday, August 15, 2026 | 1:00–3:30 PM EST Angel Food Sound System joins UMA for an afternoon exploring what it means to build sound infrastructure outside of extractive spaces. The first hour is a panel with Saylem Celeste, Elijah Meisse, and Mo Yasin on Angel Food's evolution. From its roots as a modular, stereophonic system to the community programming that surrounds it today, the panel traces the research, construction, and fruition behind how Angel Food came to be. The second hour moves to the parking lot for a vinyl listening session, where the system speaks for itself. This workshop is open to all levels. No audio background required, just curiosity about sound systems and the communities built around them. Free of purchase. Registration required.
