Rooted in Detroit and carried far beyond it, he's spent decades building a reputation on independence rather than trends, letting the music speak louder than any image or hype ever could. For those who live and breathe their craft, no explanation is needed. For those who don't, no explanation will ever suffice.

Moderated by Tajh Morris (Turtle Bugg), this session moves through DJ Bone's career and development, from rigging an all-in-one stereo as a kid to create pause-button remixes, to becoming one of techno's most respected independent voices. Expect firsthand stories from a life spent behind the decks: the discovery of techno that changed everything, decades of uncompromising dedication to the craft, and the philosophy behind his celebrated three and four-deck sets, played without sync buttons or quantizing.
