His work has been recognized with the Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Music Clio Awards along with numerous international advertising and music industry honors.
As Executive Creative Director at Butter Music & Sound, Tim leads creative teams while composing for some of the world’s most recognized brands. His commercial work spans hundreds of campaigns, combining cinematic storytelling with modern music production.
As a record producer, Tim has collaborated with Grammy-winning artist and DJ Honey Dijon, bringing his production and arranging experience into the worlds of electronic, dance, and contemporary music.
As a film composer, he scored several feature films starring and directed by James Franco, including I Am Michael, King Cobra, JT LeRoy, and Pretty Thing, developing a reputation for emotionally driven, cinematic scores.
Beyond his professional work, Tim is deeply passionate about mentoring the next generation of producers and composers. Over the course of his career, he has mentored more than 15 interns—two have gone on to earn Platinum records, and one has won a Grammy Award. Helping talented musicians build lasting careers remains one of the most rewarding aspects of his work.
Tim is also a sponsored artist with Universal Audio and Waves, regularly incorporating industry-leading tools and workflows into both his professional productions and his teaching. His classes emphasize not only creativity and musicality, but also the real-world techniques, client communication, and production standards required to build a successful career in today’s music industry.
