Experience Requirements

This course is designed for intermediate producers and artists who are already creating music and want to elevate their work to a more professional level.

Students should be comfortable navigating their DAW independently and have experience recording, programming, editing, and arranging music using audio and MIDI. A working understanding of concepts such as EQ, compression, sends and returns, and automation is recommended, even if students are still developing confidence in applying them.

Students do not need advanced experience in mixing or mastering. Much of the course focuses on strengthening listening skills, developing better decision making, and learning how to apply technical tools with intention.

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring between two and six works in progress to develop throughout the course. The workshop format is built around active participation, experimentation, and feedback.

Students who are open to constructive critique, willing to share unfinished work, and interested in continuous growth will benefit most from the experience.
