ACADEMY
Underground Music Academy is thrilled to announce the official launch of our online curriculum. Following a series of workshops aimed at understanding and meeting the unique needs of our hometown, Detroit, we are well-prepared to extend our services to both the national and international communities.
UMA and Studio Express, in collaboration with 2K Foundations, will introduce a music licensing course starting January 20th, 2024. This comprehensive course will provide valuable insights into the business of music licensing for video games. In addition to lectures from industry professionals, 2K Games will license one final track for a game. UMA, along with our advocates, will choose a total of 12 students to receive scholarships to attend.
